20μm BOPP matte film (or delustered film) is a biaxially oriented polypropylene film characterized by high haze and low gloss. It is frequently laminated with materials such as PE and CPP, and is widely utilized in the high-end packaging of food products, daily chemical goods, gifts, and more.

BOPP film itself possesses inherent qualities such as light weight, high mechanical strength, excellent dimensional stability, non-toxicity, odorless nature, superior chemical stability, and outstanding water and moisture barrier properties, making it a fundamental core material in the modern packaging industry. Specifically, the 20μm BOPP matte film—a specialized functional variant—achieves a diffuse reflection effect through the incorporation of matte masterbatch into its surface layer. This results in an appearance featuring a soft, paper-like texture with extremely low gloss levels (typically < 15). Through this lamination process, it integrates various functionalities—including heat sealability, high barrier properties, retort resistance, and grease resistance—thereby meeting a diverse range of packaging requirements. For instance, when laminated with PE, it is suitable for the flexible packaging of food items such as bread and pastries; when laminated with aluminum foil, it is ideal for products requiring protection from light and moisture, such as tea, coffee, and powdered milk.
