Sprocket Holes: Located along both edges of the carrier tape, these holes are driven by the feeder's sprocket gears to advance the tape precisely. Strict standards apply to hole diameter, pitch (spacing between holes), and positional tolerances.
Diverse Specifications: Carrier tape widths range from 8mm to 72mm, with common standard widths including 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 24mm, and 32mm. Hole diameters and pitches also come in various specifications (e.g., hole diameters of 1.42mm or 1.98mm, and pitches of 4.75mm) to suit the processing requirements of different components.
