FAQ
What are the advantages of our transparent orange pharmaceutical-grade PVC rigid film?
Our transparent orange 250-micron pharmaceutical-grade PVC rigid film is a high-transparency, high-strength packaging substrate specifically designed for pharmaceutical blister packaging. It boasts three core advantages—exceptional transparency, superior heat-sealing performance, and strict regulatory compliance—making it ideally suited for high-speed blister packaging production lines for solid medications such as tablets and capsules.
This rigid film is manufactured using high-purity, pharmaceutical-grade PVC resin and is free from harmful plasticizers and heavy metals. It strictly adheres to the *Pharmaceutical Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Rigid Film* standard; its parameters—including microbial limits and extractables—fully meet pharmaceutical contact requirements, allowing for direct contact with medications. The film's thickness is precisely controlled at 250μm (±0.01mm); its surface is smooth and free of crystal points, flow lines, and splices. With a light transmittance of ≥90%, it offers exceptional clarity, facilitating visual inspection of the medication and aiding in anti-counterfeiting identification. The semi-transparent orange tint effectively blocks a portion of ultraviolet light, making it suitable for packaging light-sensitive medications.
Its heat-sealing performance is a key highlight: at standard heat-sealing temperatures of 130–160°C, the peel strength when sealed with PTP aluminum foil remains stable between 9–15 N/15mm. It delivers high heat-seal strength and reliable sealing integrity, striking an optimal balance between airtightness and ease of tearing. This makes it compatible with high-speed blister forming lines operating at rates of 100–200 blisters per minute, achieving a low forming reject rate of just 0.5%. Furthermore, the film exhibits excellent thermoformability and dimensional stability, allowing for the creation of deep-cavity and irregularly shaped blisters to meet the diverse packaging requirements of various dosage forms.
The product's width is customizable (ranging from 120mm to 800mm), and its roll diameter is compatible with mainstream packaging equipment. It is widely utilized in the PTP blister packaging of tablets and capsules—including cold remedies, antibiotics, and vitamins—and its application can be extended to sectors such as health supplements and food products. It stands as a premier choice for pharmaceutical packaging materials, effectively balancing safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
