With the continuous expansion of the global blister thermoforming, disposable food packaging and commodity printing industries, the market has put forward higher requirements for rigid packaging film rigidity, flatness and molding stability. Traditional flexible packaging films are limited by insufficient hardness and poor stereoscopic effect, and cannot meet the mass production needs of high-precision blister trays and shaped packaging. To solve the common processing pain points of easy deformation and low molding yield in the industry, our factory has officially launched upgraded PS (Polystyrene) Rigid Film. With high rigidity, ultra-high transparency and excellent thermoforming performance, this new generation of rigid film has become a preferred material for global packaging and printing manufacturers.
This industrial upgraded PS film is made of 100% high-purity virgin PS resin, with no recycled materials or impurity additives. The raw materials meet international food-grade contact standards, ensuring safe and clean packaging for food, daily necessities and toys. Adopting advanced constant-temperature calendering process, the film surface presents mirror-like flatness and crystal transparency. The whole roll is free of bubbles, crystal points, water marks and surface scratches, with extremely uniform thickness distribution. It can maintain stable flatness after long-term stacking and cross-border transportation, effectively avoiding defective products caused by film warping and uneven thickness.
Different from soft plastic films, the newly upgraded PS film features outstanding stiffness and stereoscopic shaping ability. It heats evenly during high-temperature blister processing, with fast molding speed and high finished product yield. The molded PS blister tray has neat edges, strong compression resistance and stable shape, not easy to shrink or deform during stacking and transportation. In addition, the film has good surface hardness and scratch resistance, which can effectively protect internal products from friction damage, greatly improving the overall grade of packaging products.
To meet diversified downstream processing requirements, customizable single-sided and double-sided corona treatment is available. The corona-treated PS film significantly improves surface tension and ink adhesion, perfectly adapting to high-speed gravure printing, screen printing, UV coating and hot stamping processes. The printed patterns are bright, clear and firmly attached without fading or peeling off. With moderate hardness and toughness, the film is suitable for automatic die cutting, punching and folding processing, matching modern intelligent production lines and effectively improving enterprise processing efficiency.
