FAQ
The 0.07mm PVC shrink bag (also known as PVC shrink tubing film) is an ultra-thin, heat-shrinkable packaging material produced using polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin as the primary raw material, processed through specialized blown-film and stretching techniques. With a thickness of merely 0.07 millimeters (70 microns), it combines high transparency, exceptional flatness, and excellent shrinkage properties, making it widely utilized for the outer packaging of lightweight and small-sized goods such as food products, daily chemical items, stationery, electronic accessories, and toys.
This product is manufactured using high-quality vinyl-based PVC raw materials, combined with eco-friendly plasticizers and thermal stabilizers; this formulation not only ensures the film's flexibility but also significantly enhances its optical properties and thermal stability. The finished film surface is crystal-clear, free of crystal points or wrinkles, allowing for a vivid display of the packaged product's appearance and thereby boosting its shelf appeal. Furthermore, its superior flatness facilitates continuous feeding on high-speed automatic packaging machines, minimizing issues such as film jamming or misalignment, and ultimately improving production efficiency.
During the heat-sealing and shrinking stages, the 0.07mm PVC shrink film typically achieves uniform shrinkage at relatively low temperatures—ranging from 80°C to 120°C. It exhibits a longitudinal shrinkage rate of approximately 5%–50% and a transverse rate of 20%–55%, enabling it to tightly conform to the contours of irregularly shaped products while providing protection against dust, moisture, and contamination, as well as offering a primary level of tamper resistance. Additionally, the film possesses excellent printability, allowing for multi-color overprinting to meet specific branding and product identification requirements.
Although PVC materials face certain restrictions in some countries due to environmental concerns, they continue to hold an irreplaceable market position in many developing nations and specific application scenarios. This enduring status is attributed to their low cost, stable performance, and transparency levels that often surpass those of alternative materials such as POF. It is important to note that, during usage, compliance with local regulations regarding phthalate plasticizers and chlorine emissions must be strictly ensured. Overall, thanks to its distinct advantages—including its lightweight profile, high transparency, exceptional flatness, and ease of processing—the 0.07mm PVC shrink bag remains an ideal disposable packaging solution for small to medium-sized goods.
